Science Fair

Science Fair: October 19th

All of the participating John Baker students will have their creations and projects out for judging on the 19th during specific time during school hours.   On the evening of the 19th parents, siblings, etc are able to come and view all the science projects.   Papa John's and Steve's Flamingo Ice will be at the school for individuals to buy pizza or shaved ice in support of our Family Science Fair Night

K-3 grades it is not mandatory but encouraged for students to participate. Classrooms do projects as a team.

4-5 grades are required to participate in the science fair.

This is a non-competitive fair. However, it is a good experience for the students to meet with a few "judges" (I'd like to call them "VIP's") so they can explain their experiment and results and receive some feedback.  Depending on the year and interests of volunteers and kids there may be a competitive option for those interested.

Volunteer Opportunities

o Pick up tables the day before.  Individuals with trucks desired since some tables will be moved from Holiday Park Community Center and Hoover Middle School

o Return tables following day(Trucks needed)
