  • Roller Skate City:
    • They are set to open in 4-6 weeks, but we haven’t heard anything from them in response to our calls.
  • Science Night: November 10th from 6:00pm – 7:30pm. Explora is hosting.
  • Budget:
    • Sponsorships for Jog-A-Thon are up higher than we budgeted. $2,200 is what we have gotten. We budgeted: $1,700.
    • We purchased supplies for 5th grade math and some pencil sharpeners. We paid for half of the new copy machine.
    • We helped purchase Kindergarten assessment software.
    • We purchased a few Jog-A-Thon items.
  • Book Fair:
    • October 31st – November 4th
    • We are looking for a volunteer to run the Book Fair.
    • We will not have a book fair if we do not get a volunteer. The PTO board has its hands full. This would be unfortunate because it would be a big loss of funds for the library and our school.
  • Box Tops:
    • First deadline is October 21, 2016.
    • Volunteer needed to help for the first party of the year. The party will be the first week of November.
  • Misc:
    • There are several straggling children in the morning that aren’t getting to class.
    • An idea was proposed to create a sign-up sheet to have volunteers stay outside 3-4 extra minutes to help the stragglers get to class or get to the office.
  • Room Parents:
    • Promote the following events via flyer or tear off tabs, etc. for the following events:
      • Science Fair
